for a clearer view, try going up to antipolo via sumulong road on a cool clear morning... stop kayo dun sa part where you can see the entire of metro manila and you'll get an idea of the extent of pollution of the metropolis...

That's not only happening in manila also around the earth, sa california ganyan din akala ko nga fog yun pala smog may napanuod ako sa tv. kung paano guguho ang mundo it was 1. pollution (smog) we do this everyday by riding our cars, powerplants etc.... 2. asteroids, 3. human made viruses 4. nuclear war etc... grabe noh, tayo din pala ang sisira ng mundo natin.

Madami naman alternative than using gasoline, but money talks, kung may alternatives eh di hihirap na middle-east and oil companies.

PFft.... that's nothing... you guys should ride the SuperFerry south sometimes... that brown haze is everywhere in the Philippines by now.

Back in the 80's, the sky in Laguna was still blue... sometimes... now, even on a clear day, there's a slight brown tinge in the air.

Even in GH's "clear day" pics, you can see the brown tinge.

Thats the price we have to pay for doing things the easier way.

Felt that rin there especially sa old airport area before, sa peak ng airplane landings and take-offs. Was surprised that air flow was not enough to take away the smogs in that area then.
