DAVAO CITY—Piqued by text messages, e-mail or blog entries written in “jejemon”?
Jejemon is a new kind of slang, with complicated nonrules on spelling. Those into jejemon greet people not with a “hello” but with an “eOw poOohhzz” or write “iNgAtz puh” and “xeNXia Nah.”
Help is on the way to put jejemon texting into a grammatically correct form.
A student taking up BS Computer Science here took an existing software that does standard machine translations of phrases between two languages to a higher level to help grammatically challenged people come up with composing messages.
