    I was watching this on YouTube and it has to be the most scaled back, almost pitiful, V-Day parade ever.

    There used to be SEATO... Which included former colonial powers from Europe. It tried to stem the communist domino effect in Asia.

    It was dissolved in 1977.

    In September of 1954, the United States, France, Great Britain, New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines, Thailand and Pakistan formed the Southeast Asia Treaty Organization, or SEATO.

    the non-military aspects of SEATO were taken over by ASEAN.
