April 3rd, 2008 08:42 AM #14we are in the same situation... looking for a good school around dasma for my 4 years old daughter..
so far ito yung mga kino consider namin..
Elizabeth Setton (Anabu-Coastal) - 20 minutes drive from Dasman bayan with a moderate traffic. Traditional way of teaching and it has a very good facilities. 30 pupils per class with one teacher. Tuition: 60,000 to 65,000 pesos per school year
Casa Real Montessori (Dasma/Imus) - main campus is on Imus inside Parkplace subdivision. So far ito yung gusto namin kasi yung method of teaching is individualized, pag madaling matuto yung anak mo he/she can go right away with the next subject without waiting for the other.. 20 pupils per class with one master teacher and 2 teacher aid. they have to maintain a low pupil to teacher ratio kasi nga individual ang teaching.. but our concern is a minimum of 30 minutes drive from dasma. it could go as long as 1 hour drive pag traffic. we might enroll our child sa Casa Real Dasma campus na lang.. they have practicallly the same materials and method of teaching as with the Imus campus but with older facilities.. mas ok na dito kesa naman we let the 4 years old travels along major hi-ways. Tuition - 37,000 to 44,000
Wezz Bee International Scholl (Near Petron Dasma) - they have superb playground, medyo naiba yung curriculum nila, once a month meron excursion and way of teaching is mixed traditional/montessori. medyo pricey dito, 68,000 to 75,000 per school year.
Eaton International (along Aguinaldo Hiway, near Setton) - same as Wezz Bee. tuition mas higher ng konti sa Wezz Bee.
other schools from Dasma that you can choose from:
Immaculate Concepcion Academy
Vias Maris
St. Joseph
St. Francis

April 4th, 2008 02:18 PM #16huag mo na ako i sir.. hindi ako sanay na tawagin na ganun...hehe
my officemate ako dun nag aaral child niya sa casa real imus.. incoming grade 1 na at 7 yrs old by september this year.. maganda naman feedback nilang mag asawa sa school.. yung anak nila can do reading 4-letter word, addition, subtraction at ito nakaka gilas, their child can read and write in cursive writing... in traditional schools and even international schools itinuturo nila cursive writing sa grade 1 pa..
sa Seton mahigpit sila sa age.. dapat 7 years old by september this year bago nila bigyan ng entrance/evaluation exam. but i heard that yung sept. na cutoff nila ginawa na nilang december..
taga imus po kami but since the arrival of the kids (4 and 2 yeard old) nakitira muna kami kila biyenan sa dasma bayan.. hirap na kasi magtiwala sa yaya ngayon... yung mga yaya bantay mga bata tapos yung lolo at lola bantay mga yaya.. hehehe
hope this helps...
