    yes we import other countries' garbage...

    like nagiimport tayo ng used car batteries (which is very toxic). ginagamit yan ng local battery manufacturers para gumawa ng new batteries.

    is the JPEPA really the root of all this? Eh di ba matagal na ngang prominent yang pagdump ng mga developed countries ng biohazardous wastes sa mga 3rd world countries kagaya natin via smuggling, bribery, etc.? So ba't ang JPEPA ang tinutuligsa at hindi ung mga taong patakas na nagdadala dito ng mga ganyang wastes?

    EDIT: Gets ko na, kaya tinutuligsa pala ang JPEPA eh dahil magiging legal ang pagdump dito ng mga ganun. PERO, ba't di na lang irevise ung agreement regarding sa dumping ng ganung mga wastes dito? The JPEPA has it's advantages, but if biohazardous wastes is its disadvantage, then perhaps the reason why ayaw nga ng mga tao dito. Kinda st*pid... andami pa namang pwedeng negotiations na pwedeng gawin para imbis na biohazards ang dadalhin dito in exchange of one of our needs eh iba na lang...

    Depressing but true...Maintaining these recycling facilities is not cheap...kyay nga mas convenient at mas matipid to dump it...Kanino pockets kaya na naman ang NALAGYAN...

    mahilig talaga tayo sa basura, pag natuloy yan, sigurado mayron dyan na makakagawa ng paraan para isalvage yung ibang mga items doon para magamit, recycle ika nga.

    come to think of it, nagkukulang na nga nurses sa pinas and the givernment is finding a way to export them pa. haaay what to do, liit kasi sweldo ng mga nurses dito sa atin.

    goes to show what kind of government we have, BASURA din. kaya walang mangyari sa Pilipinas e dahil sa mga namamalakad na :screwloose:

    tama si uls, we cant even take care of our own sh*t, so let them take care of their own wastes.

    eto dapat ang ipinag rarally ni gary granada!

    Actually, meron ako napanood na isang Japanese documentary tungkol sa waste management nila, ewan ko lang kung gaano kalawak ang implementation noon, pero meron silang mga garbage trucks na ang ginagamit na fuel ay galing sa organic wastes, so yung garbage trucks na iyon ang nangongolekta ng biodegradable wastes nila tapos yung makokolekta niya, ginagamit niyang fuel niya. Ayos di ba? Tapos yung iba ni-re-recycle, kung malawakan ang implementation nun, malamang puro non recyclable na talaga ang binabato nila sa atin, wala na tayong makukuha doon kundi sakit.

    Magkakasakit na nga tao natin tapos nasa kanila pa ang mga taong may kakayahang magbigay lunas, haay buhay.
