meh. it hardly resembles the pokemon game I vividly remember.

where's the aspect where you'd have to fight the pokemon first to capture it?

instead, you only have pokeball flinging minigame. bleh.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

From what I've heard you'd have a real fight in your hands sooner or later - with muggers.

Gameplay is similar to Safari Zone in Fuchsia City. You can also train your Pokemon and get badges.

For many of us, catching Pokemon in the "real world" through AR is compelling enough.

Gameplay-wise, it's quite a concept -- video games that actually get people off their *$$es...but somehow not appropriate for certain places(cemetery, museums, schools, etc). Once they tweak the "off limits" areas they should be fine.

    HAHAHAHA

It's a bit disturbing that the creators didn't foresee this. Imagine if they release it here, and some kid went Pokemon hunting in the bad parts of town.

I don't think 3rd world countries were the intended market. But yeah, that's something parents should watch out for.

Kahit naman before, when Tamiya and trading card games were the in thing and people had weekend meets at malls, kids had to be wary of shady strangers too.

This requires data connection. I wonder how many kids have data plan on their phones?
