Really?
My kid (and me when I was younger) had driving tests that highlighted how to parallel park, proper lane changes, right of way, proper speeds, following distance, proper signalling, etc.
There were a lot of infractions to avoid. For example, speeding beyond 5 mph over the posted speed limit is a 10-point deduction. Others like touching a cone/pylon is an automatic failure. Another automatic failure is doing something dangerous like cutting somebody off.
A driver's test is $25 for three attempts. Fail three times and it's another $25.
The instructors don't mess around. I've seen some younger drivers fail miserably in the first test which is the 3-point parking. Aside from the automatic failure from hitting a cone, there are minor infractions as well:
Failing to signal when turning is a 4-point deduction for each occurrence. Failure to turn your head and look around while turning is also a 4-point deduction. From where the student is parked and to the point where the instructor enters the car for the remainder of the road tests, the student has to signal at least twice, look around twice, get the car within the box twice, not be too slow doing it, no more than two directional changes (turn into the first box, turning reverse into the second box).
I've seen some instructors refuse to get into the car because the student driver already failed. If the students can't get the 3-point parking right, they're probably worse on the road. The instructors aren't going to waste their time.

We don't have a dog. But, our friends and relatives do. One of my uncle's dogs. Lovable little mutt. He likes to get on my lap and take a nap.

This is actually from Google Maps.
With due respect to the deceased, it's disturbing to see many who never even reached 50. If this isn't a wake up call for people to take care of themselves, I don't know what is.
