I hope the situation calms down in Turkey. I had such a wonderful time there, both with the place and the people. The people there are among the most honest I've seen anywhere.
One time, I went along with a convoy of GIs headed over to Pine Park Holiday Resort at Mersin. I guess in tsikot.com terminology, it's an EB.I was in a sucky Toyota minivan that had a hard time keeping up with the other cars.
My favorite resort by far. The beer flowed freely during the few days I was there.

I was testing our camcorder in different light conditions (late afternoon to early evening). I simply duct-taped the camcorder to the dash.
It's definitely better to use it during daytime which is fine, considering the low price I paid for the camcorder.
It's interesting to note the older parts of town still have power poles above ground. Most newer developments have electrical wiring in conduits underground.

Every time I'm outside, I instinctively study the cloud pattern. This time, I was studying the cirrus blow-off from thunderstorms that dissipated. They tend to spread out (instead of continuing to rise) when they encounter the tropopause.
Sometimes, the thunderstorms are able to punch right through the tropopause. It's probably a good indicator of severe thunderstorms (hail, damaging winds, downpours, etc). We've seen hail here often enough over the years.
On topic...... The top photo was taken with a DSLR and the bottom one with an iPad Mini 2. The latter seemed to have a problem with this particular blue sky.

Oh I see! That explains why the brembo pads seem to have a different design. The original Akebono...
