Airshow fever is all over town. Even the wife wants to come along. It's not really that big because it's free to the public. But, it's always a nice way to spend a weekend.

Got me reminiscing. My main draw to them are the WW2 birds. I usually volunteer to help out (so I can get in free and up close

) in many airshows I attended. Not this year. Maybe next time.

I saw a number of P-51 Mustangs (like this one) flying around the airfield. I hope they're part of the airshow. I love the growl of Merlin engines whether they be Rolls Royce or Packard-built.

I'm still experimenting with the wife's Canon Vixia HF R600 zoom. The wife is the one who likes Canon. I'll probably buy a Sony or Panasonic for me. I've always been partial to Sony camcorders for their low-light extras.
