I never seen so many European and Japanese tourists as yesterday in the vicinity of the Bellagio hotel. The Strip was okay. But, we hanged around the longest at the Miracle Mile Shops. At least, that's where the wife n kids hanged out. My friend and I went to see the water show at the Bellagio Hotel.

I would have taken more photos of the beauties we passed by at the Strip. But, I had one too many beers and couldn't adjust my camera for night time. ;)

For the first time, my eldest daughter can now drive while I ride shotgun, allowing me to admire the view for a change...... I've always been fascinated by the desolation of US 95.

If you mean my photos, it's not the ocean.

It's Walker Lake near Hawthorne, Nevada. The lake is so stagnant, the fish in it are probably contaminated (eg mercury poisoning).

Edit:

The place looks really nice in winter when there's snow on the mountains nearby.

If you watch the 1971 movie Vanishing Point and it's 1990's remake, it gives an idea.

Real-world, I had the cruise control at 75 mph or 121 kph. The speed limit is 70 mph. Most cars were whooshing by me. They had to be doing way past 100 mph (161 kph) and keeping it pegged at that speed.

The upper limit for cruise control is 90 mph. So, they have to slow down to that speed. Otherwise, their feet will get tired from pressing the gas for hours at a time.

It's almost 400 miles from Fallon to Las Vegas which would make it a 7-hour drive with only four real towns in between.
