I'm planning to go with the wife when she visits the PH next year. Some mementos from my 2013 visit. Lots of traffic around the LPC city hall area. But, the rest of Manila were much much worse. I told the wife, if she wants to visit the MoA, I'll stay home. It's not worth it going there with all that traffic.

Someone is being naughty and letting a pet dog poo on neighbors' grounds. It happened twice on my property. It hasn't happened since I set up a webcam for the front yard.
Wife's home early today. I guess someone is covering for her. Her leave doesn't start until tomorrow.

Those were my stomping grounds during the few years I was there. I rode my 10-speed a lot visiting friends: BF Resort, BF International, crossover to BF Paranaque and almost right by the MIA airport perimeter fence. I'd watch planes take off and land. Then, I'd head back to BF International and circle around through Naga Road, Vergonville, and back to Manuela Subdivision. All those areas at the back were still grass and rice fields.
I also have friends at Pilar Village and Moonwalk Village. We'd head as far as Molino and stop there. There was no electricity yet at that place. So, it was kinda scary at night.
Back then, the Alabang-Zapote Road wasn't that crowded. Most of the buildings in the photos weren't there yet. It was mostly grassy areas. It was breezy and refreshing all the time unlike now.
That is also the Las Pinas I know. I never went to the older Las Pinas with the Bamboo Organ.
Edit:
Oh. There used to be an alley beside Petron. I used to take that as a short cut to get home. The mayor's house is also by that area. I used to pass it on the way home.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; June 27th, 2015 at 11:24 PM.
Haha that's true. People entering the roundabout charge into it as if they have the right of way,...
