I read on other sites, na kaya daw nalulugi yung mga pre-need companies eh dahil nagbebenta sila ng traditional or open-ended educational plans. I'm just curious, ano ba ang ibig sabihin ng "traditional" or "open-ended" plans?

^^^
no matter how high tution fee has risen, an open-ended educational plan has to pay out the amount
kaya nga unsustainable
there is no way the pre need firms can grow their funds big enough and fast enough to keep up with tuition fee increases
if you are a firm who sold 20,000 open-ended plans 10-12 years ago... when the plans mature around this time (ang mga bata lumaki na, magco-college na), you're gonna have liquidity problemsLast edited by uls; September 11th, 2009 at 10:45 AM.
