I mean I would get a 20 every now and then pero I only got regular allowance mga tipong high school and college.

For my kids now, bata pa sila so sinasanay ko na baon muna sila for now. May snacks sila, pang lunch, water, juice/milk, and konting sweet treats. I try to make it fun din by using creative containers since ang mga bata ang hilig sa mga ganun. This year ang gusto naman nila is yung libre sa milk nilang Lactum 6+ so baka yun na lang at makatipid naman ako. haha.

Teach them early how to handle money...

So we started to give her 20 pesos a day. She only eats at the canteen once or twice a week so the rest, she just saves.
My kid was in grade 1 last year. complete na din snacks nya with lunch but he was always telling me na yung classmate nya may pambili ng something sa canteen like juices. naawa din ako kaya binibigyan ko na din sya ng pera 10pesos for those small foods.

If your kids aren't asking you money yet, dont give them. But if they started to.. i think its just ok to give them in small amount. that way hindi sila ma sabik sa pera. minsan jan sila natututo magnakaw ng pera e.

We already started giving our son allowance since last year. P40.00 per day na sya this year, pero may dala pa rin snacks. Most of the time, he saves his allowance.

Our eldest son is grade 3 na pero hindi pa rin marunong sa pera. hindi kasi namin siya binibigyan ng baon na pera eversince kasi kumpleto na rin baon. but this year, may gusto siya na juice sa canteen nila at minsan inililibre ng classmate. kaya mula nun binibigyan na namin ng eksatong 13 pesos pambili ng juice. minsan kasi sobra 15 pesos ibinigay hindi kinuha yung sukli kasi hindi alam.
