    Your body's metabolic rate appears to be faster than the norm, if this is so then we cannot say that it's an uncommon anomaly; you simply just burn fat faster than most.

    If you still feel that you are not "normal" in terms of metabolism, then I would suggest that you undergo a full work-up with your family doctor. Check everything just to be sure. As they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

    I'd lay off too much sweets though as a source of fat since not only does it keep you active, it can make you feel oppositely miserable when your sugar crashes. That is besides the fact that you might end up being a diabetic as PajeroKid pointed out.

    Honestly, I could only wish I had your metabolism!

    My friend who never gets fat in our entire life, got fat ONCE.

    Here's how:

    1. Change your habit. Wake up early. Sleep early.
    2. Eat three square meals. No in-betweens. And on time.
    3. Quit smoking.

    If you wanna get thin again just do the exact opposite above.

    you may be a young male wishing to have more muscles. It is important that you have to see a doctor internist. You will be worked up for diabetes remember skinny ang young people may have type 1 diabetes..weight loss despite eating a lot, frequent urination, always thirsty.One more thing have your thyroid hormone checked you might be hyperthyroid. We have a way to check the proper weight for height and that is the BMI or body mass index. Go see ur doctor first and dont buy any of those herbal products. If you are not diabetic nor hyperthyroid then a nutrition expert must be consulted together with a fitness expert for proper way to build muscles.

    Hehe.natatawa ako dun sa mga ibang reply. But anyway im 21 5'7-5'8 * 130-132 lbs. Yup mabilis ata ung metabolism ko kasi nagugutum ako maya't maya kahit kakatapos ko lang kumain mga 1 hr gutom na ako ulit. Sabi ng mga friends ko kailangan ko lang siguro magtake ng Multivitamins and magstop sa pagssmoke kasi lakas daw papayat un. Ung whey protein nasabi na sken un pero hindi ko pa ntry may nakapagsabi kasi saken pag hndi hiyang sayo mkakapimples ka? totoo ba un?

    doesnt necessarily follow. you can be reed thin but still be diabetic. the guy could be a type 1. Anyways, it wont hurt to see a doctor and check what chemical or hormonal imbalances, if any, exist.

    Bro,- you're still young,- okay lang iyan. Enjoy it while it lasts. How are your father and mother, uncles and aunts, bros and sis? Payat ba rin sila? If they are, then, it is in your genes.

    Generally,- wait until you grow older,- tanong mo naman,- "Paano ba magpapayat?"

    KaTuGa lang ang katapat niyan,- KAin, TUlog, GAla.....

    Also, baka may alaga ka ngang ulupong sa tiyan (although I doubt kung mayroon pa, at your age),- Combantrin ang katapat niyan,- but it is imperative to consult your doctor here, please....

    And while at it, ipa-check mo rin ang thyroid mo....

    Nung kolehiyo ako 105lbs ako, 5 7" height. Payatot ang tawag sakin o kaya walis tingting. 1 cup rice lang ako noon busog na. Tapos niyaya ko ng barkada ko mag gym. Lumakas ako kumain tapos ng mega mass drink pa. In six mos naging 140lbs nako.
    Hanggang ngayon 140 parin kaso napunta na sa tiyan Kahit anong kain ko di talaga ako lumolobo, nasa katawan ata talaga yan kasi yung ibang kasabayan ko mag gym nung huminto tumaba.

    Bata ka pa pre... enjoy mo lang yan! Ako ganyan din dati. Pero ngayon, nakakapanibago, parang kelangan ko na bantayan kinakain ko (na dati hindi ko naman ginagawa). Iba na reaction ng habits ko sa katawan ko.

    Kakainggit ka naman..ako halos 36 na waistline ko at pag ganitong age at weight, mataas na ang risk for developing heart disease (sarap kasi kumain)..

    Baka nasa genes ng family mo na tataba lang kayo at a certain age in your life. Ganon sa akin. My father began to add up weight at age 30. Ganon din nangyari sa akin though gradual nga lang..

    maganda kung medyo mataba ka but try to do it not at the expense of compromising your health...

    Cranberry juice can add a lot of calories to your daily diet..
    mag asawa ka na rin (as what they have suggested-it works!)
    try not to be fidgety (magalaw)..
