January 17th, 2013 12:32 PM #11sinilip ko po sa loob at labas prefab lahat... yung mga condo na nakita ko dito sa manila prefab yung wall pero may post and beam pa rin sila.. eto wala talaga... so lets say yung pinaka post niya is yung mga wall ang ibig ba sabihin nun hindi ka pwede mag drill ng holes sa wall para sa mga LCD TV at baka masira yung structural integrity ng building?

kung walang poste diba delikado yun.. parang domino..
nakita ko lang na walang poste yung mga container vans na patong patong.. mas safe pa yun..
parang ganito..

January 17th, 2013 01:19 PM #19Mas ok ang ganyang walls, kasi mas maganda ung quality ng concrete dahil ang curing ay under controlled environment. Ung site concrete pour kasi nag-iiba pwedeng ung concrete mix ay compromised.
Thickness of the walls will determine the safe height of the building, and yes pag meron earthquake ang point of failure nyan ay sa welded part, but since ung wall ay casted as one mas matibay ito compared sa pinagpatong na hollowblocks.
Hindi naman laging sa post or beam pwede kumuha ng strength ang isang structure, ung buong wall ay load bearing na agad. Ung precast na floor din mas maganda kasi tensioned na ung bakal from the factory.
Sa mga bibili ng mga housing unit na ganito ang material na ginamit ng developer, take attention on the ends, better kung during welding ng joints ay andun kayo at makita nyo na na weld talaga bago takpan ng semento.

Tama si sir miso_honi. "pre- cast" construction nga ang tawag dito. Karamihan sa mga residential and commercial
construction projects sa middle east ay ganito na ang ginagawa. And this is a very strong and reliable type of
construction, provided that all the construction materials passed or exceeded their respective standards.
Hindi ako civil engineer pero familiar rin ako sa mga "tests" na ginagawa nila sa mga materials, like that
compressive strength of the cured concrete.
Hindi basta- basta ang tigas ng mga sementong ginagamit diyan at may takdang oras kung kailan sila puede
nang gamitin. Kung nakita niyo kung paano binuo 'yang mga 'fly- over", halos ganoon na rin ang procedure
sa pag- gawa ng mga pre cast buliding. Mabilis gawin 'yan dahil puro "pre- cast" na nga lahat ng concrete
structures, less time for "Concrete Hollow Block (CHB)" asintada.
