hotels up to 20 floors in our seismic region are built this way. it is fast, less expensive and safer way to build. they were tested by the earthquake of 8.1 magnitude for 60 gruelling seconds and did not suffer noticeable damage.

the savings is on the forms used for casting the concrete. there is minimal need for shoring, forms and the labor to make, assemble, install and dismantle the forms

the smaller units do not necessarily have beams and columns. the panels of up to 12 inches thick server for this purpose or some of them have a stiffener part (beam-like) cast integrated with the panel itself

Thickness of the walls will determine the safe height of the building, and yes pag meron earthquake ang point of failure nyan ay sa welded part, but since ung wall ay casted as one mas matibay ito compared sa pinagpatong na hollowblocks.

And this is a very strong and reliable type of
construction, provided that all the construction materials passed or exceeded their respective standards.
Hindi ako civil engineer pero familiar rin ako sa mga "tests" na ginagawa nila sa mga materials, like that
compressive strength of the cured concrete.
structures, less time for "Concrete Hollow Block (CHB)" asintada.
Hahaha!
Masasabi ko lang na "OK" 'yan if it did passed or pereferably exceeded all the
Local and/or International "Construction Standards". If not, well that's quite an expensive- looking grave.
