    ...isa lang tapos isa dependent. isang fee lang po. ang binayaran ko pa lang yung pa NZQA ng school ko, wala kasi sa qualified list nila eh. though buti na lang pasado school ko based on their assessment.

    From the NZ Immigration website:

    Site here

    Step 3: We rank and select Expressions of Interest
    Expressions of Interest (EOIs) submitted over a number of weeks are pooled. Periodically, EOIs are selected from the Pool as follows:

    EOIs that have total points of 140 or more will be selected automatically from the Pool;
    EOIs that have total points of 100 or more but less than 140, and include points for an offer of skilled employment or current skilled employment in New Zealand, are selected (according to their points ranking), in sufficient numbers to meet New Zealand’s Immigration Programme (NZIP) requirements.

    If, following the selection process set out above, further places are available, additional EOIs may be selected from the Pool on the basis of additional selection criteria set from time to time by the Minister of Immigration.

    Once your EOI has been selected from the Pool, following some checking, you may be invited to lodge an application for residence.

    If your EOI is not selected from the Pool, it will remain in the Pool for six months. If after the six-month period your EOI has not been selected from the Pool, we will withdraw your EOI from the Pool and you will receive notification that this has happened. You can submit another EOI if you wish.

    If we have not selected any EOIs over the six-month period, all EOIs will remain in the Pool until we make the next selection.

    If, during the time that your EOI is in the Pool, there is a change in your circumstances, or in the information that you have provided to Immigration New Zealand, you must inform us. If any information is found to be false or misleading we may choose not to invite you to apply for residence.

    KoKoNAT, ito pala yung quota na sinasabi mo. nabasa ko nga siya sa site. based naman sa online assessment, naka 140 ako. pero hindi ko pa sure kung tama nga yung mga sagot ko. hindi ko pa na accomplish yung EOI para malaman yung score ko talga.

    thanks ulit!!

    Yup, may superannuation din, pwedeng ikaw mag-apply o ang company. Around 23% tax sa main job at 33% ata sa 2nd job mo. Kagandahan ay may student loan d2 (interest -free), pag may work na saka lng ang bayad. I heard mas maganda yata ang family assistance sa Oz kesa d2 at may $7-10,000 binibigay ng gov't sa 1st time home buyers, d2 next year pa ata start yun.
