October 2nd, 2006 12:34 PM #66I guess all of us will need to be thankful for the minimal damage to our personal properties and families.
Even for those who were slightly affected, we are still lucky compared to those who lost lives and of course, cars.
Parang lumiwanag ang UP oval when some acacia trees lost branches.

i was stuck in edsa for 3 and a half hours a day after the storm. i passed by 3 fallen and twisted gigantic billboards ( 1 on the coastal road intersection, 1 on the magallanes interchange, and another one along edsa before approaching guadalupe ( giant tv ata yun)). and get this, ayaw daw tumulong ni binay sa pag dismantle ng mga fallen billboards sa makati along edsa kasi trabaho daw iyon ng mmda. hayup!

2 houses in San Lorenzo Vil sustained heavy damages from fallen age old trees. Some buildings along Buendia only had minor damages while no report yet of any significant structural damage to buildings in MBD. Also projected cost for complete clean up and restoration of Makati is still being evaluated, must be running to a couple of zeros to be shouldered by taxpayers (and driver victims) ka-chinggg!
