another option is.. instead of OT.. make it a 3 shift schedule (8 hours each).. wala ng OT.. although overall mas mahal siguro since more heads therefore yung overhead ng ibang benefits mas mabigat vs OT na lang...

I think the OT should come from the BOC budget... hindi sa airlines... BOC naman nag mando na dapat may BOC sa airport eh.. an airport (like domestic) can function as an airport, even without the BOC...

i think kaya lang ipinapasa ng BOC ang burden sa airlines is mukhang hindi profitable for the BOC ang mga airports (compared to the international sea ports)...

they should adjust their schedule base on the needs of the airport, 3 shifts kaya naman no need for overtime

this is a great opportunity to replace them. court of appeals order na yan, sila na ang wala sa lugar if they push thru with it

sa sobrang daming walang trabahong pinoy, madami papalit sa kanila. mas ok din isara muna ang NAIA1 and redirect all fights to NAIA3. in that way, mapabilis na pag-open ng NAIA3 internationally

    sobrang positive news eto

ang kakapal talaga ng mga mukha ng tiga-customs na mga ito. hindi naman sila nag-seserbisyo para sa mga airlines kundi para sa gobyerno naman bakit sa airlines nila ipapasa yung OT pay nila.

    quote from Philstar: http://www.philstar.com/Article.aspx...bCategoryId=63

The BAR, whose officials lead the AOC, had received reports that personnel of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) cease service after office hours or at 5 p.m. during weekdays and would not report for work during weekends and holidays.
The BAR had refused to pay the Customs workers’ overtime fees after the Court of Appeals, where the BOC lodged its complaint, ruled in favor of the air carriers.
