Yeah, and kung mayaman, the money is even kept abroad... no effect whatsoever. At least with local bank savings, the Banks can still lend it out.

Poor guy, at least it seems he's accepted his fate and just continues to live his life from where he started off.

In my former office, there's supposedly an employee who won the lotto and she just continued to work and live her usual life; only difference is she's not stressed on expenses and I encountered by chance that when someone she knows well gets sick, she sends a little help money to them.

sabagay... it seems there's a limit to how much of their money should be kept in pesos. excess pesos should be converted to foreign currency and kept abroad

    No.

2 birds in one stone kasi yan.

May chance kana na manalo (to win, not felix manalo, lol).., nakatulong ka pa.

One way i found out about this: When Lehman, AIG and Citibank "happened", takbo silang lahat to SG to "fix things". Money was being brought back home even and placed in time deposits until things settled down, tapos ayun, alis again.

Nothing wrong with "taya" sa lotto. From time to time i put in around 20 or 40 pesos when i find myself standing around a lotto outlet with no lines and i happen to be waiting for someone.

Malupit siguro screening committee niyan, mala Opus Dei.
