because they want to earn. The most heavily park mall na medyo gitna location (trueQC is the gitna in NCR)

if sa makati/bgc yan eh magiging posturing/projecting dahil may impression na sosy place but that is so late 90s to early 2000s.

I usually park at Podium, even before pa ma renovate ito, then walk na lang sa Megamall. and mas madali pa lumabas.

doesn't matter because I don't go to QC

I know Ayala Center like the back of my hand and that is all that matters to me (though since pandemic I haven't really gone much to the mall so I don't know how much has changed)

Ayoko talaga sa SM, yung shoe box design, hindi maganda tignan

    i agree.
aside from their open-roof garden at the top, nakaka-off yang mall na yan sakin.
but i do like their express parking exit ramp.

i prefer the cubism of SM.

Come to think of it, I've never gone to an Ayala Mall with the intention of buying something. It's usually for the cinema or just passing through to get to the transport terminals. Maganda kasi ang cinemas nila nung 90s dahil IIRC they were one of the first to have guaranteed seating and online reservations. And Taters.

I really miss going to LCM. Yung second floor kags where the PX stores are, maraming discounted, it's not just one store. They also sell Toblerone by the box there. Pero baka mapikon ka sa parking dun Sobrang tagal pa ng elevator. Maybe things changed na after the pandemic.

    yup.
    PX.
    post exchange.
"imported" (presumably, made in USA) ang mga binebenta sa PX goods store.

the reputation arose during a time when such items could not be purchased by ordinary folks, anywhere else in the country.
we used to go to clark and visit the outside-the-base PX goods stores there, for things that catch our fancy. mostly electric and mechanical items.
when pinatubo erupted, the PX good stores at ulo nang gapo were awash with items like big furniture pieces, even entire sets, and even bathbubs, still with chisel marks.
nowadays, "PX" has lost its allure, as many of the items are now readily available to to anyone, in many physical stores and online stores.

tama nga sinabi ng accountant ng sm more than a decade ago na sm north ang number 1 sa sales sa lahat ng sm.

Kasi may kachat ako department store supervisor na 20years na nagtrabaho sa sm eh ang ranking daw...

    1.) sm north

    2.) megamall

    3.) mall of asia
