as i vaguely recall, when molopisya opened its doors in 2006, it had only two storeys for store space. the parking floors above it, were for parking.
i am not sure, but i think the sm department store was also a two-storey affair, back then. they had since converted one parking storey to store space.
at that time, the ikea building lot was an open-space ground-level parking facility, initially a sorry-looking thing with soil and gravel, later macadamed.

back then, you went to molopisya either via your car, or a taxicab.
no other public utility vehicles went there.

doc i cannot laugh at sm quiapo which we have a pwesto in the 80s. Mall at time eh nasa infancy pa.

Cant laugh at mall of asia because its a wawide space. Kahit hangang 2nd floor or 3rd floor eh ang haba naman lalakarin.

Natawa ako nung sinabi kachat ko hangang 2nd floor lang sm las pinas. Im expecting na malaki mall sa south.

sm have mastered their target market. The YOLO crowd, mga tao mag-iipon for that item kahit wala maitabi for security. Parang yung joke sa kapampangan na kahit wala ipon basta makayabang.

Ang loob ng sm ngayon pang world class, affordable and can be reach ng masa. Magkakataloh na lang kung babagayan ba. Its important makibelong.

Look at sm north how many expansion na = the block, the new annex na naging gigantic electronic store, and yung pinakabago sa right side (nalimutan ko name)

Kaya doc kailangan from time to time nagblend ako sa masa. Ewan ko ba madali ko mabasa kahit hindi ako sumasabay sa agos.

Kita mo namam assessnent ko sa makati malls = so precise (makaluhgaw pa sinuportahan sa election kaya ayun bagsak sa lahylahyan.)

Ang talagang SM mall sa Las Pinas ay ang Southmall.

Yung 2 floors na sinasabi ng ka-chat mo ay SM Center na hypermarket at ACE hardware lang ang main attractions. Yung Vista "mall" (there are actually 2) ay renovated na Manuela department stores from the 70s. Hindi pasyalan ang mga lugar na yon. Para yon sa mga may bibilhin lang talaga gaya ng groceries o school supplies.

Kawawa naman ang ka-chat mo kung ginagawa nyang hangout/pasyalan yun. O baka naman estudyante pa lang yan?

i grew up on turn of the century fare.
back in the day, there were no malls, and high-end restoes were expensive. our titas would cook everything from scratch.
