Okay, since we're on the SM topic, let me share a story.

I bought 2 folding tables yesterday evening in SM MOA, when I paid using a BDO credit card, the cashier advised me that there is an "on-going" SM/BDO drive that Php 10.00 goes to the Bohol Earthquake Fund, for every transaction that I use my BDO card.

10 pesos isn't that much, di ba? What can 10 pesos buy nowadays? But it got me thinking, combine ALL the SM/BDO transactions inside SM MOA for that day. Then combine all the SM/BDO transactions on ALL SM branches.

Then multiply that on the number of days duration of the drive/fund raising.

It could amount to MILLIONS.

And all donated under the name of SM/BDO.

Well, in fact it came from the pockets of their customers.

SM = SIMPLENG MAGNANAKAW.

That's the SM way... making the money of others work for them. :D

It's the same principle that was applied to the basketball team of NU from what i heard. SM has its suppliers "sponsor" the players or their training needs (Hearsay lang).

Which mall/s do you frequently visit during weekdays and weekends?

I used to work in Makati so it varies among Greenbelt, Glorietta, Rustan's or SM. On weekends since I'm from south I'm a regular of Alabang Town Center, which is not too crowded and parking's almost always available.

How about you guys?
