What??? Para kang yung isa sa mga ex ko dati. Although at that time naman di pa siya talaga nakakarating ng Baguio having graduated college and been working for a time already. So nung niyaya ko siya as we're going up there with the family, kailangan pa namin ipag-paalam sa mudrakels niya.

Baguio is probably one of the only place in Luzon kasi na pwedeng balik-balikan.... whether driving or not. Naalala ko tuloy yung niyaya ako ng mga barkada ko ng biglaan. They were in Baguio na and just remembered to ask me over on a whim. So mga 10pm nasa Victory Liner ako sa Cubao at by 3am nasa Baguio na ako. Sinundo na lang nila ako sa terminal. We were I think 5 in a small sedan. Ang sipag pa ng driver namin. Kaya punong-puno ng pasalubong ang trunk nung pauwi na kami. Probably one of the best times for me with the gang of all the places we've been since.

If you have that need to unwind, this is still the place to be - even how much it has deteriorated since my first time there. Tagaytay for me is just a close second. If the touristy place seems depressing, pwede naman mag-stay lang within sa accommodation mo. Well, even in their present state I still do get to enjoy pa rin naman yung The Mansion, Burnham Park, Mines View Park, Wright Park, probably because wala talaga tayong open park na safe and comfortable dito sa Metro Manila.

Early 90's yung una kong punta sa Baguio, and I can attest sa changes na nangyari ever since, and not all to be positive. When the Americans left the city, it was quite mostly downhill from there, pun intended. Talaga lang we're left with no other choice at the moment. Tagaytay is even more crowded I think, and too limited. The Cordilleras (Banawe) and Batanes are both too remote naman for the casual traveler. Clark and Subic hasn't lived up to their promise... then and now.

Scenes such as these are what you're mostly greeted with nowadays when going up or staying in Baguio.
There are even times where you won't see even a patch of green in places that it looks like Smokey Mountain at a distance.

Hindi lang talaga ako mahilig mag travel, okay din kasi magastos mag travel so that's something I do not spend on. If I'm paying I'm not going

Sometimes even if it's free I still don't go.

I really want to stay at the manor. It looks so nice on photos, parang wala sa Pilipinas. I also want to see the North (Ilocos and la Union etc) Bicol and Batanes

Last time I visited Baguio is mid 80’s. Never na naulit.

Hopefully to see Ilocos and Bicol pag medyo hindi na risky due to pandemic.

sa mga Lakad mo sino ang MAS nagdeteriorate baguio or tagaytay? Last ko nag tagaytay year 2012 or 2013 kaso gabi from 9pm to 4am. Random yayaan tapos ako pinadrive. Its not the typicaL me kasi im caLcuLated sa byahe but napa-oo na kaysa maging kiLLjoy. Nagbyahe 1.5hours to eat tapang baboy damo tapos uwi din. Nagsayang ng dieseL but its not my car so sige but effort sa akin pagdadrive ganyan katagaL tapos kakain Lang/tambay starbucks. Magagawa naman sa trueQC ko yan minus the coLd weather.

Yung boracay nga buti may intervention presdu kasi jan poso negro sa dagat. Ang mga peeenoise taLaga Laman-tiyan pasosy-sosy pero kadiri naman.

Nung naLaman ko yan ayoko na LumobLob.

Kags... mukha talagang nag-stay ka lang sa iyong True QC. Baguio at Tagaytay lang bihira ka pa makapunta?

Medyo OT na pero sagutin ko na rin. Para sa akin mas nag-deteriorate ang Baguio having experienced it nga nung 90's pa. Tagaytay naging mas matrapik lang. Ngayon wala na yatang pinipiling araw ang trapik dyan. Supposed to be mas accessible na siya ngayon due to several routes that had been opened, pero naging bottleneck pa rin yung Tagaytay proper.

Still, Tagaytay for me is just an alternative if you can't make it to Baguio. Lots of things and places to see in Baguio. At sa mga naghahanap ng long ride, syempre mas satisfying pa rin yung drive to the summer capital even compared to Clark or Subic.

BTT, sanayan na lang yan if you still feel the coldness of Valentine if you've been celebrating it with yourself for a long while now.

nasa part kasi ako ng trueQC na reLaxing at may kapitbahay nga ako kuLang-kuLang 2hectares as in open space.

im tamad kasi magdrive tapos pag ako Lumakad minimum of 4days 3nights at mas type ko beach & watefaLLs. Yung may magagawa na hindi ko nagagawa sa trueQC ko. Longest ko 8days 7nights. Ninanamnam ko taLaga pag nagbakasyon.

Yung baguio kasi kaya naging squatter dahiL puro paupahan for tourist. Meron ba siLa maayos na housing code jan or parang sampaLoc sa ust bara-bara.

Sa tagaytay namam madami mga organic farms kaya kahit papaano may future pa. Pero grabe pag nakasabay-sabay hoLiday 4pm tapos nakauwi NCR 11pm hahaha. Tawag ko jan byaheng-bwisit.

Mas sisipagin pa ako pag pupunta sa punta fuego. Pero again minimum 4days 3nights. IdeaLLy 6days 5nights.

about vaLentine eh the onLy time na bumiLi ako fLower eh once Lang.. Hindi ko na inuLit kasi nakakapanghinayang, may mga bagay nagkukuripot ako.
