    our maids usually lasts for a long time.... we just let them go if they feel they are ready to spread their wings.

    our first maid lasted for 7 years. tinulungan and inencourage namin mag negosyo maski nung nandun pa sya sa amin, nagumpisa sa simple retailing. now she is a sales manager ng isang realty company. nakapundar na din sya ng sarili nyang bahay and pa hongkong hongkong na lang....

    the second maid lasted for 4 years.... pinagaral namin ng 2 year college course... now she is a sales supervisor sa Toy Kingdom sa SM Bacoor.
    our current maid has been with us for 4 years na din... nakatapos na din ng 2 year college course.... pero wala pang plano umalis...

    the first two has always been contacting and visiting us during special occassions like birthdays and christmas.

    what we do is to give them our full trust and we treat them like family.... they enjoy perks such as their own rooms and own cabled TV sets. we also do not give them deadlines, but what we expect from them are results... hindi namin sila pinapakielaman ng details ng work nila on how to do things, etc.

    money and jewelries? we put it in a safe... para malayo sa tukso. maski gano ka kabait sa kasama mo sa bahay, may need pa din yan and natetempt pa din yan.

    our maid's schedule starts at 5 AM to prepare breakfast. then she cleans the house and washes clothes every other day.... after that, break na sya since wala naman syang kasama sa bahay except for our baby dog.... she has leeway on what she can do like go to her friends house (na katabi lang ng house namin), watch tv or take a nap.... her schedule resumes at around 5 PM where she has to prepare dinner.... tapos nun, by 9 PM, sarili na ulit nya ang oras nya.

    we give them one day off per week... mababagot at mababagot pa din yan.... she can go to church or go to the mall if she wants to.

    and aside from the usual perks like education, we pay her SSS and Philhealth....

    and we give 1/2 month mid year bonus, and 1/2 month 13 christmas bonus.... may birthday celebration din sya and may gift din sya sa christmas.

    so far, wala naman kaming nagiging problema.

    to each his own yan.... treat them properly, and you will have their loyalty.

    but if trust is broken, no choice except to let go.

    Our house hold help are usually the children of our farm workers. Same with the drivers. Yes, mayroon talaga mga tao na ayaw mag-aral, gusto maging maid na lang or driver. But we treat them as family na rin.

    di uubra...di n kukunin yan. kasi alam nya na nag hihinala si boss kasi tinanong sya di ba? ibang location naman at walang sugo or utos na linisin yung parang normal lang pero may nakatanim na camera na.

    Di ko nareview yung cctv. Had to go to Manila today.

    Yung mga naiiwan na mga pera sa mga tables, sa pagkakaalam ko, hindi naman nawawala or kinukuha.

    Sobrang trained na itong maid na ito sa amin. Labandera and plantsadora sya. Kahit anong klaseng damit kaya nya ng labhan and plantsahin ng di masisira.

    maliligo pa so 12 noon na

    kakain pa so 1 pm umpisa mag trabaho

    habang nagtatrabaho magtetext yan at magpopost sa tsikot

    tapos magmemerienda...

    5 pm tigil trabaho na yan

    maliligo uli

    tapos buong gabi nasa computer, bukas ang TV, aircon....
