I would get 2 window units and one split for your floorplan. the newer window units are very good. TCL na 1.5HP is only 24k, only 200watts when it reaches the target temp..maintaining the temp would be a breeze for these newer window units especially in these semi insulated condo units.

    my condo isn't dmci.
but i always prefer window type if it can fit.
split level (BR2) because i do not think window type is feasible.

I'm trying to avoid crowding the balcony with A/Cs

And since puro 1HP and nakikita kong pinaka-maliit ng split type... I was hoping for an possible solution (portable A/C sana kaso based on reviews na nakikita ko, mukhang di uubra)

7sqm lang yung bedroom 2... madyadong malaki ang 1HP

I guess best solution is 3 indoor unit na 1hp each... tapos 3hp outdoor compressor.

yea I love staying at the balcony, nanduon yun garden ng parents, the outdoor unit is covered(natakpan?) by the clothes hanger rack on one side. the window ac is high above naman on the other side. it doesn't obstruct the balcony space.

condominium is like squatter area.

My condo layout is similar. You have to route your copper tubing through your living room. You just hide it via a false ceiling.

There's a 0.8 hp Daikin. It does get crowded though if you have 3 aircons. Ideally max is 2 compressors outside (on opposite ends).

I only have 2 right now. If I end up getting a 3rd aircon for my other room, might have to switch my main bedroom aircon to window type to make space.

Hmmm. Daikin, thanks. will try to check that out. I was hoping to find Mitsubishi or Samsung kasi may "airless/3D mode" sila

I'm 99% decided to use a multi system. so there's only 1 outdoor unit for all 3 indoor units.

My favorite quote from the A/C company I was talking to...

Sir, problema kasi sa multi-system, pag sira ang isa, sira lahat

Haha...you beat me to it.[emoji16]....Seriously, those who've had 1st hand relative experience w/ the various brands will always put Daikin as option1.[emoji106]

They usually sell via direct distributors instead of mall stores, since they usually serve industrial clients. Lots of sellers on Facebook though. Got my 1hp for 33k and 2 hp for 41k.

Try the Home Depots. Saw a Daikin dealer in the BGC and Ortigas branches.

Went with Panasonic because of a promo. The missus also likes the Panasonic indoor unit's design better.

Check Daikin website for dealers. Got my D-Smart series 1hp inverter for 33k inclusive of installation (first 10ft of copper tubing). Sa OLX ko nakita yung dealer ko last year. OLX is now Carousell. Kung taga-south ka I could give their number.

Don't get the non-inverter. Our 1hp inverter Daikin used 8 hours per day barely makes a dent in our monthly electric bill.

Daikin din gamit ko. 2 2hp na split type at 1 1.5hp na window type. Sulit na sulit.
