its not like they have a choice.. a guilty criminal still has to have his day in court. its called due process.

Lawyers do have a choice, often times, they just choose the wrong one. Unlike doctors who swore to save lives regardless of the person's reputation, it's not a crime for lawyers to refuse their rotten to the core client.

the kid gets scared when he sees him; the cops who busted the gang explicitly pointed him out; even his accomplice said he was the mastermind. and he still posted bail, even if KFR is a heinous and hence unbailable crime.

i don't get it; ba't ganun na lang kalakas si dennis roldan? ano bang meron sa kanya? related ba siya kay GMA somehow? he used to be a congressman, pero matagal na ata un?

misconception. even a criminal caught red handed has to have a lawyer to represent him in court. a lawyer assigned to his case doesn't really have any choice on the matter, he has to do his job - to defend his clients rights. but its different in civil cases. you don't have to believe me, you can ask a lawyer friend.
