jeepneys are junk and rubbish when you are inside your brand new airconditioned sedan or suv. to the riding public it is a work of art, a proof of filipino "can do".

i guess it all it all depends on where at you are looking from.
sorry but i disagree. they are discourteous most of the time, stopping in the middle of road waiting for passengers, swerving without looking knowing that private vehicles will give way since they dont want their precious shiny vehicles damaged.

it is not a work of art, to the riding public, they dont care whether your jeep is stainless or as colorful as a rainbow just as long as it gets them from point A to B, can you still notice anyone admiring the designs of PUJs?

yes its a proof of filipino "can do" pero ganun naman talaga tayo eh basta umaandar maskina walang quality and safety ayus na, we have no sense of commitment in doing the best we can

totally abolishing PUJs is not the solution since rail transits and taxis can only get you as far. the solution is to regulate their numbers, there's only an adequate number of jeeps that can optimumly transport commuters to minimize waiting time both for the commuters and the PUJs, of course this is a big study, this entails rescheduling of routes, and of course PUJ drivers are expected to follow their schedules..... tama na wishful thinking ku
