medyo vain ako sa pananamit eh

when i was in elementary/middle school, whatever was the most comfortable - jeans/shorts and t-shirts. medyo ganun din nung high school/college, although in college i started buying sharper clothes like button-down shirts, slacks, and dress shoes. no khakis though. i hate khakis. i also had a couple of suits for formal occasions and job interviews.

now that i'm in the working world and in management, i try to buy the best clothes that i can afford - partly because that's my thing and partly because i want to set an example and a good first impression. so everyday (even casual friday) i wear button down shirts and either wool or linen dress pants, with dress shoes. my job also requires that i wear a suit fairly often.

outside work and on the weekends, it's cargo shorts or jeans, t-shirts and sneakers, driving shoes or flip-flops. i have some mini collections of NBA jerseys (current and throwback), World Cup football jerseys, and baseball caps...so i tend to wear those a lot too...

Never naman ako naging brand conscious...I remember the time na nauso yung pekeng Casio G-Shock nung late 80's, bumili agad ako. P60 petot lang sa Quiapo vs. more than 1.5k pag orig.

Pero ngayon, preferred ko talaga Wrangler polo shirts and pants (or Levi's) pag lumalabas, either to watch a movie, dine out or whatever.

nope.. i used to wear daring clothes before i got married.. dress to kill talaga whenever i go to parties or clubs .. but now that im already a wife and a mom, ok na sakin yung plain shirts and plain pants or shorts (for running errands) na lang.. hindi na rin siguro ako babalik sa dati kong porma.. baka ako ni hubby sabay ikahiya ni baby..

in the '90's, i used to raid the local thrift shops for vintage clothing. but now, it's all about comfort...cargo shorts, surf shorts, jeans, t-shirts, tank tops, flip-flops, etc...plus the occasional shirts and slacks and sometimes suits.

    nagbago syempre.
