hi guys, I was just curious, how hard is it to go to Japan? do you need a visa or just a passport? Im thinking of going there for a vacation when its winter. wanna try what its like to go snowboarding there . thanks for the help guys.

ps. anyone interested on coming? share the room expenses(the more the merrier right?), and in return, I'll teach you how to ride. its kinda boring riding alone . I'll be visiting pinas in November, and if madali lang pumunta sa japan, I'd probably go there around Dec-Jan, or when there is snow accumulation. I know medyo matagal pa, but it never hurts to plan ahead right?

I see, so dito nalang pala ako kukuha ng visa . thanks very much for that info. I heard Hokkaido is a very family oriented resort, which is always nice. pero mahal nga lang , some people are even suggesting na sa Australia or New Zealand nalang daw coz its much cheaper.

if US passport mo di na need ng visa since may visa waiver agreement ang US saka Japan. pero kung Phil passport pa din yan then deffinitely you need a visa.

Nagano and Sapporo both hosted the winter olympics in separate years before, kaya talagang maganda ang mga ski course diyan. Dati e $170 yan, good for 7 days sa lahat ng JR lines, including the shinkansen or bullet train. Ask your travel agent for the details of the JR pass.

ako naman i hate winter, kaya pag spring nako pumupunta dun...

totoy: salamat sa mga suggestions, I'd definitely look into it para maka save kahit konti. medyo matagal pa naman eh, so marami pa akong oras magplano. would've been nice if i knew someone from japan para doon na ako magstay, rather than pay for a room. thanks again.

pnay: so you hate winter eh? hehehe... ako naman I love it :p. para nga akong nag wi-withdrawal ngayon eh, miss ko na talaga snow. I HATE summer!

Cutedoc: you should try it,man. its fun once you get the hang of it, and if you do try, a piece of advice; buy a wrist guard and a butt-pad. I guarantee you, you WILL spend most of your time on your ass while you are learning . like I said once you get your balance right, and enough self-confidence/determination, you'll be bombing down Black Diamond runs in no time.
