HP.............true...my kids talk math...sometimes i'm awed and amazed (redundant?) on how these young kids understand...and not only that formulate their own math language...my husband and I are ok with math too...

for everyday living..kelangan talga natin ng basic "ritmetik"
for real world problem solving... algebra - basic to intermediate level - is just about what we need. la na yung calculus and other stuff... for academics and hard core designing and scientific ek-ek lang yun. nung college, tatlong kurso yung calculus na kasama sa kurikulum ko, plus meron pang group theory, buti na lang di umabot sa chaos theory....tapos pag graduate, algebra lang pala magagamit.
...but, i'm not against higher math, heck we won't have pc's, computer softwares, and most of all, computer games with impressive cgi's if not for these higher math wizkids.
Choice I would have made as well.:nod:
