January 11th, 2020 10:46 PM #851it really is difficult to weld/repair a thin-metal tank, moreso if it's rusting.
there may not be enough good metal for the welder to weld into.
and even if he was successful, the tank will likely spring a leak soon, because the metal is already old and rusting.
what you can do, is what someone already said: use those metal-backed adhesive tapes that manang uses on her leaking metal pots and pans. it will last until you have saved enough for a good replacement tank.
when my old (40 years old; it came with the house!) galvanized pressure tank sprung a leak, i replaced it with a stainless tank. after over 10 years, ok pa.

January 12th, 2020 01:42 AM #852Sabi wala el nino this year 2020. But.....
How can angat dam 212 meters sustain up to june sa dami ng tao metro manila plus yung dagdag na chinaman? (eh dati koreans pa lang)
Im lukewarm doon sa kaliwa dam. Tayo taga metro manila may kailangan tubig tapos mag-aangrayado ng katutubo. Malaking ginhawa ito sa true qc pero mali talaga.
Wala ba mabuibuild na mini-dam for metro manila use? (geo-yatta yohooo.)

^ a bottle or two to wash the windshield might be good enough to see. but to show 2 carts of potable water just to wash a car is insane and a complete waste of precious resources[emoji2955]

January 27th, 2020 08:40 PM #858chinecheck for the past months mga dams syempre lalo na angat eh ang bawas usually .05 .10 the most .20. Pero ang usual eh .10.
So sa isang buwan ang magiging bawas eh 3 to 5meters. Kung walang water interruption eh 1meter per day ang bawas nyan. Hindi na kasya supply ni angat dam sa population. DAmi tao eh.
Yari metro manila pag summertime.
