Buti na lang wala pa akong nami-meet na ganyan. Pag may nakakausap ako at sa tingin ko Pilipino, tinatanong ko agad, tapos tatagalugin ko na...

My view of that is if they're already doing that while still in the Philippines, then they need to have some sense knocked into them. But, if they're doing it here, then that's their perogative. It's a free country. They can do anything they want. They're not in the Philippines anymore, first and foremost.

Considering how cruel Pinoys were to me when I first arrived in the Philippines (I didn't particularly enjoy beating the crap out of those who taunted me) and didn't know any Tagalog yet, I don't have any sympathy for those who insist on other Pinoys knowing some Tagalog. If they insist on Tagalog, then go back to the Philippines. They have no right telling other Pinoys what to speak.
