malapit lang po ito sa SM fairview... hindi ko lang po kabisado masyado pero around 30Minutes from Sm fairview or less siguro...

Gretz, there are several ways to go there.

One via NLEX, where you can take the Marilao temporary exit or you can take the Bocaue exit. It is located in town of San Jose del Monte or SJDM sa most karatula ng jeep plying that route.

Taking the Marilao exit is faster and less traffic. When you enter the exit, you can also ask the toll personel the details where to turn. Generally, you turn right (parang T section kasi ang marilao exit. Follow this short winding road and then you reach another T section. Turn left on this (you'll pass by a Vitarich chicken dressingplant) and just go straight until you reach a semi-major intersection in the town of SJDM (maraming jeep dito)...you have to turn right here..Grotto would be just about 1 to 2 mins drive from there. That intersection (if you go straight) will lead you to SJDM town proper. If you turn left to Bocaue/Sta. Maria Bulacan town.

If you take the Bocaue Exit, you turn left after the exit..go straight to Sta. Maria town proper.. you'll be passing by a Y-section of the road and you should take the right (taking the left will lead you to Norzagaray)....go straight utill you reach a K-section shape na intersection....you should take the "middle" right-side road going to SJDM.....if you straight (sa may tulay) that's the Sta. maria town....if you take the immediate right this would lead you back to Marilao exit. Make sure you're going to SJDM (ask around or be wary of the road signs - meron naman if you notice it).

Pag katurn mu duon...just go straight that road and you'll eventually pass by Grotto na...(you would also be passing the intersection near sa town area ng SJDM i mention above...that leads to Marilao exit). This is about a 20mins drive to reach Grotto (no traffic).

The other option is via the backdoor. From UP dil go to SM Fairview. When you reach that T-section (SM on your left side) turn right and go straight untill you reach an intesection in SJDM. Turn left on that intersection and Grotto should be about a 5 mins drive na lang.

You can't miss this because that kanto is like a market area rin and a jeep stop. From SM it just a short distance of may be about 5-10Km. Travel time from SM is really just under 30min lalo na kung walang traffic.

By the way avoid the NLEX if you're going a day or 2 before the holy thur or friday....heavy traffic expected sa north bound. But it is normally empty sa holy thu until sat.

btw Gretz, medyo mabilis ako magmaneho sa lugar na yun (familiar na kasi yung road) kaya yung mga time estimates ko could be wrong. But those are the right ways....ask the locals - jeepney driver and tricycle drivers often know the place.
