I was in a meeting with some foreign colleagues and they opened the meeting with:

"Congratulations! You must feel very proud that you have a new president!"

    Me: "Not really; definitely not."

Finally a law that makes so much sense. I don't have to go to SM and pay for PSA birth certificate everytime. There is this one time I submitted an old NSO/PSA Birth Certificate and they did not accept because it already expired I just shook my head.

    from what i understand,
these documents have never had an "expiration date".
but the entities that require for them, for reasons only they rationalize, seem to prefer recently-released documents...

They have a secret number below the document that's why they will know if the document is new or old. But some agencies need the original one so you have no choice but to get one from PSA.

DFA daw requires them. Ang reason yata eh baka may mga recent correction and changes sa birth certificate. Maybe you are not Catherine anymore but Katherine because you corrected it.

Not sure kung matatawa ako o maiinis on how our conversation went. He noticed kasi I'm distracted so I guess that's why he asked.

Engr friend: what are you doing?
Me: fixing my meds for the week
    Engr friend: for your bipolar?
    Me: NO!!!
