Same, una nawala pang-amoy ko Ms. Cathy.. 1-2 days ata bago nawala yung panlasa ko.. Wala ako sipon at ubo nung 1st week, lagnat lang na sa gabi lumalala.. Yung ubo, later stage na nung pagaling na ako..
Claim mo na Ms. Cathy, gagaling ka.. Samahan mo ng positive vibes, prayer, 8 hours sleep at 3L tubig..

Btw, yung pang-amoy ko.. Hanggang ngayon feeling ko hindi pa din 100%.. Nasusukat din ba yung lakas ng pang-amoy at panlasa? Like yung sa pandinig and grado sa mata.. [emoji28] Wala lang, naisip ko lang kasi duda ako na hindi pa fully bumabalik yung sense of smell ko..

yung pang amoy talaga totally nawala.. ang worry namin ay yung mahirapan sya huminga..

dati kasi nawawalan ako ng pang amoy pag may sipon.. sya wala naman sipon, pero walang pang amoy.. may ubo lang na dry

illness, for one. colds... flu... allergies.. conditions that can affect the nose's lining.. illnesses that involve the head and neck.
there's also loss of sense of smell due to ageing.
in recent times, covid has been associated with anosmia. experts think it is because the virus affects the cells supporting the nerves that are responsible for smell.

btw,
that sense of taste?
experts 70% of our "sense of taste" is actually smell.
that can explain why food tastes bland when we have the sniffles.
