August 10th, 2019 12:06 AM #5814Tawa-tawa tea was helpful on two of my relatives who had dengue -- one this year, one last year. No personal experience, just what I heard from them, so take it for what it's worth, sir. Here is an article / posting from the internet. Hope it helps, good luck.
"Results showed that laboratory mice treated with the decoction of “tawa-tawa” had an increase in platelet count, reduced bleeding time and decreased blood clotting time. Based on the results, researchers concluded that administering tawa-tawa decoction to animal models help improve their healing mechanism."

August 10th, 2019 01:01 AM #5815there is no truth to the perception that the doctor in the small/government hospital is inferior to the doctor in the big medical center.
we're all doctors. equals.
perhaps we are confusing skill and knowledge-intelligence, with equipment and logistics.
graduates of elite schools.
same as every profession.
the elite school opens a door. the less elite school opens a window. what they do upon entering, is entirely up to them.
"when you're good, not even a diploma from the worst medical school can stop you."

"anak ng Diyos", in our language.
they inherit dad's practice. if they are good, fine. if they're bad doctors, eventually the public finds out and acts accordingly.Last edited by dr. d; August 10th, 2019 at 01:12 AM.

This is true Doc, my niece is a doctor, but instead of opening a clinic or working on a private hospital, she choose to go to Barrios and work in a small government hospital and help the needy, does that mean she's not good or smart? Nope, matalino pamangkin ko, laging nasa honor roll siya since elementary until she graduated sa medical school, kaya it really depends on each person's priority in life.
