Yes, kahit naka genset, hindi din nagagamit ang solar as source if brownout.

Ooops ... sorry wasn't clear ... thought the sentence was complete ...

If you have NET metering and there's a power outage during the day, your solar panels are not allowed to deliver power since you are connected to the grid ... This is for safety of the power utility personnel that could be working on the grid near your house ...

NET metering is when you are connected to your electric company and selling your excess power to them ... also note that you do not get full value of amount you are selling to your electric company ... for example, if you are paying 10 pesos / kwh ... the power you sell are not credited as 10 pesos, it's much lower than that ...

You are correct. Net metering is pang sukli lang sayo for the excess electricity from your solar panels that you don’t use.

They are used to installing solar panels to existing houses ... remember to factor-in cleaning charges every 2-3 years ... they charge per panel ...

True ba na nakakatipid pag solar? Yan kasi ang selling point nila palagi. And the payback period of 5-6 years parang hindi rin realistic. Parang based on the available infoi get, I can make a rough guess na at least 10 years ang payback and that is if you're lucky enough na walang masisira sa panahon na yan, whether due to parts failure or AON.

I'm sure the installers will not care to make sure na pulido ang kabit at walang leaks. May guarantee nga pero perwisyo rin ung pabalik balik sa bubong and ung frequent tapak ng tao contributes to the weakening of the roof itself.

Mas mabilis ang ROI if you apply for net metering.

So right now ang ginagamit mo whole day is solar na lang?
