In thailand, they call it TOK TOK. You might have seen it on one prestigious TV commercial where Pierce Brosnan is riding a public tricycle on his way to Local Hotel. This TokTok differs from Habal Habal as Habal doesnt have sidecar but instead using the back seat for the passengers. Habal operations at the moment is limited on fixed destination with fixed rate. If this continue they might evolve to per mileage charge similar to taxi.

IMO, it should be legalised para well regulated, like dapat yong passengers at driver eh naka-helmet para kahit papano me protection in case na maaksidente.

Sa totoo lang sa Manila lang yata konti ang motorsiklo (at least this was the case the last time i left the country). Yes, there are accidents na nangyayari from time to time pero it's not really rampant dahil disiplinado ang mga motorists.

Naku, against ako sa legalization nyan!

Utter chaos ang dala niyan sa atin not to mention safety considerations.

This is the philippines dude, everyday may accidents, palaging may gitgitan, maraming di naka helmet, at undiciplined mga drivers dito... thats the main concern. Do you think that this will change? With the way things are going here, I don't think so
