the last time na nagbakasyon ako sa pinas, people would ask for my clothes while i was still wearing 'em. so pag-uwi ko, shorts, sando, and tsinelas na lang ang suot ko sa eroplano.

it's ok, they needed the clothes more than i did, plus i probably needed a new wardrobe anyway. pero magdadalawang isip ka when it's time to take a vacation. should i go to the PI and visit relatives or go somewhere else where you don't have to deal with this kind of hassle or should i say hustle?

bakit pa kasi meron yung one-liner na "there's no place like home"... hehehe. kahit alam mong wala naman pagbabago ang lugar na nakagisnan mo ay gusto mo pa rin balik-balikan.

OT: You should try going to the Grand Canyon, its really nice up there. I really enjoyed hiking the different trails there.

Nakakatawa o nakakainis o napapamahal o nakakaulol man,- ganyan talaga tayong mga Pilipino...

i know the feeling. it's especially annoying because you're coming home and you miss them and are looking forward to spending time with them, tapos ganyang klaseng attitude ang sumasalubong sa iyo.

to their credit, most of my relatives are not like that - it's only a select few families na medyo not very educated at medyo makapal :twak:

I guess it's about time you found out who your true friends and relatives are isn't it? If they can't understand that you are working abroad to give your family a better future and not to buy them gifts and "inuman" then you don't need them around.
