those needing constant charging are 100% electric cars, not hybrids.

AFAIK - most car manufacturers aren't so keen on electric-powered vehicles. the technology push is with fuel-cells (maily by using hydrogen).

Btw, hybrid & electric-powered vehicles are a different breed. Most hybrids can recharge its own batteries (from its internal combustion engine + braking) while electric-powered vehicles doesn't have that capability.

I agree! Kung merong mode of transportation ngayon na matipid sa gas is by using 'CADILAC" a.k.a. CADILAKAD

may chance umabot ng P50 before the end of the year..1 major reason is that winter is fast approaching in many countries and this will generate increase in demand..

we really cant do anything about the increases. kahit na subsidize pa ng government. lalo lang mababaon government natin.
from what i understand. most of OPEC and non OPEC members are already running at full capacity, except for Saudi (near full capacity na rin). the demand really is at its all time high (especially in China and US) kaya mahal din ang presyo. Growing pa demand sa China kaya we really cant expect softening of the prices soon.

yeah i know...pero given the price of gas has been steadily rising ang sweldo natin is still pretty much the same. if a am, an above average salary worker is having headaches over the price of petrol(and im driving a charade) what more for people on lower salary tier...

whats fascinating is given that were a third world country and the price of fuel is crazy...many people still but gas guzzling AUV's,SUV's and sports cars...kakataka ano hehehe but the trend is leaning towards more practical cars now and im glad to see the trend...

sana maglagay na lang ng scooter lanes lahat tayp mag scooters na lang...kaya lang pag abot natin sa office puro libag na tayo lahat

last year pa pala yung thread starter nito...

eto lang masasabi ko... pag pumalo ng P50/liter ang diesel... competitive na ang biodiesel (sana) - assuming wag tataas ang presyo ng copra at di magbubuwaya ang mga biodiesel manufacturers.

also, baka maging competitive na rin alcogas or pure ethanol for gasoline-powered cars.

between the two, I think mas ready tayo for biodiesel, madami naman niyog sa pinas at madami dami din namang coco oil millers. Sugarcane industry natin medyo mahina pa (from which you will source your ethanol).

LPG or CNG? that's another option pero oil companies din ang may control dyan. saka wala pa masyadong infrastructure to deliver that on a nationwide scale.
