many misinterpret christianity as meaning that absolutely everything will be divinely provided for hehe

sabi nga sa gospel diba, "don't bring even a spare tunic blah blah"... mukhang masyadong literal yung pagbasa ng iba

    yup... grossly misinterpreted...

God will provide you... if you look for a job & do it right...

God will provide you... if you cut back on unnecessary spending / expenses

Filipinos are not poor, they're just don't know how to save and more often than not lazy. Given there are really poor people but we'll exclude them for this argument. Take our employees for example, our senior salesman makes around 10K+ a month (plus perks), minsan (at least once a week) pumapasok lasing, amoy na amoy yung gin, pag tinatanong mo dinedeny. Halos maubos na sweldo niya sa alak and he has four young children, he already suffered a minor siezure (mali ata spelling ), di pa nadadala. Plus, typically (again am not generalizing this is based on experience) when they get past 5 years on their jobs, they become hard headed and lazy, but still they want a raise but don't work for it hence we have strikes. All we want from our employees is to become hardworking and save their money. 3 days after getting their salary vali nanaman.

talagang nde literal.

Some of our employees sa factory are like that also. Nde namen alam gagawin namen kase as far as we're concerned kakasweldo lang ng asawa nya sa men. May interest pa yun. hanubayun.

Kahit ipangutang ang handa sa piyesta o kahit outing man lang, gagawin basta mag enjoy sila, which IMHO is not a very wise move.

i knew a guy who was in regular contact with trailer truck drivers. bawat pasada pala, they earn something like 2.5k(this was early 90's pa), and at least nakaka 4-5 trips sila per day(hindi naman araw araw though). but at the start of the week walang pera; naubos sa kakagood time the past weekend.
