may fallout rin ito sa kanya but it does raise lot of questions.
keso ang legislative should fiscalize the executive branch, but who does fiscalize the legislative branch if they are being reckless with all their investigations? Kinda like what Bunye said that are the investigations "in the aid of legislation or in the aid of destabilization". Honestly, in all the years of the Senate, there was never an investigation that resulted in legislative bills. Puro imbestiga lang.
Siguro ang habol lang ng Malacanang ay to control the flow of information at hindi barabara na maski sino sa gobyerno ay pwede na sabihin kung ano ang gusto nila which in the end does not solve or contribute to the investigation naman.
But I hope they implement the EO with prudence because once they block a key witness, labo na nun.
My 2 cents lang.

Executive Order 464 should be revised. It's practically an excuse for the president to act out on a whim in deciding who should be allowed to testify in a Congressional hearing.
But while both Houses are questioning the constitutionality of such an order, I am also challenging the constitutionality (and the morality) of humiliating a public official in a venue of predictable legislative grandstanding, to the point of endangering his personal well-being, as in the case of Norberto Gonzales.

According to the senators, they were insulted that Sec. Gonzales was evading questions. Had Sec. Gonzales answered the questions being thrown at him, I don't think it would not have come to the point of humilation.

IMHO, Dapat ng tigilan ng senate ang in aid of legislation kuno na yan. Gimik lang nila yan to push their selfish political agenda.

It's not right since it shows that GMA is hiding something.
OT: May meeting ngayon si GMA with the Generals sa Crame at meron ding meeting ng mga retired Generals nagaganap sa Club Filipino. Delikado na ito dahil dyan sa EO464 at ang pagdidiin nila kay Gen. Gudani.

OT: Talagang delikado. 50/50 ang military ngayon. Definitely kung may confrontation ngayon talagang blood bath. The Junior officers with some seniors do not like the politicizing of the military now. Dami kasing nasasagasaan. Looks like most of the marine personnel are getting the short end.
