    Puerto Galera records intensity 5, Tagaytay is quake epicenter

    Phivocs officials said Friday night intensity 5 was recorded in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro.


    The epicenter was located west of Tagaytay City.


    Intensity 4 was recorded in Pasay, Talisay, Batangas, Tagaytay, Manila and Taguig while intensity 3 was recorded in Quezon City and Clark Economic Zone in Pampanga.


    Reports from DZMM reporters indicated that the earthquake affected a bigger portion of Luzon.


    The strong earthquake struck at around 10:36 p.m. Friday. It lasted for at least two minutes.


    The jolts were initially mild but progressed into brief wild swings.


    Power outages were reported in Tondo, Binondo, Port Area, Sampaloc, Sta. Cruz, Caloocan, Makati City, Taytay, Rizal, Imus and Silang in Cavite, Tagaytay, San Fernando and Bulacan.


    Power was being restored in the said areas as of posting time.

    The USGS has sensors everywhere. :D... they're the CIA of Geologists. :p

    just got home.. nafeel ko dun sa bahay ng friend ko.. nasa second floor kame.. un pc table nag left pati right.hehehe. kala naman anung nangyayari.. nagfliflicker pa nga un lights
