Babnoy: I replied to your PM

Nice! Mukhang magkakaron ng magandang bunga ang experience ko in a Call Center.

Also, Is it True na mas madali daw makahanap ng work if you're a Girl instead of a Guy in Dubai?!

hmmmmm......sounds very interesting to work in Dubai.... sana yung mga maghahanap ng work, try to get an average salary of US$ 1k up, otherwise...it is a damn nightmare...imagine, kung makakakuha ka lang ng salary around 1500 dirhams, average hourse rent (bed space pa lang to, huh!), dhs. 100/month, pagkain mo, average dhs. 300, magkano na? dhs 800.00 na ang monthly cost mo, transportation mo pa! so, me take home pay ka na Dhs. 700.00 * 15 = so it will be around 10k pesos lang....

eh kung me bisyo ka pa? 1 pack of marlboro Dhs. 6.50, 1 pitcher of beer sa mga discohan, Dhs. 65.00, (pagdating mo dito, iwasan mo na yan, dahil wala nang matitira sa sweldo mo!)

lahat nagtaasan na dito, magkakaroon pa ng housing fee if ur living in Dubai, hike in fuel prices... uncontrollable house rent, lahat lahat na... yung mga nakapost na pictures dito sa thread, ang gaganda di ba? dont you know na yung mga laborers behind that structure eh hindi pinapasweldo ng mga employer nila?

Next New York?

*NOTE: yung mga jobseekers dyan sa Pinas, kung me kukuha sa inyo dyan to work here... don't accept any visit visa, dapat eh employment visa agad, other wise, baka mapasama kayo sa mga kababayan natin dyan sa Quish Island...don naman sa mga nag o offer sa inyo ng visit visa, be sure na kilala nyo yung tao, yung ibang kababayan natin dyan, me visit visa, pagdating dito, sinundo sa airport, dinala sa sponsor kuno, sa harap lang ng bahay iniwan (villa), katok ng katok ang pobreng kabayan natin sa bahay, pagbukas ng pinto, di nya naman pala sponsor, front lang pala yon, ang pobreng kabayan,,,nadenggoy lang.

A Filipino welfare organisation has questioned a film set in Dubai, saying it gives a false impression of life here. The Filipino-language film ‘Dubai, The Movie’ tells the story of a delivery boy who lives in the city.

Despite the fact he would be lucky to earn dhs1,000 a month, the man lives in a palatial villa. “The movie hardly touches upon the difficulties and troubles of thousands of Filipino workers,” said Noel, who works for Migrante, a welfare organisation for Filipino expats in the UAE.

“I deal with so many such workers everyday and am really saddened when such opportunities are lost. How can this man live in such luxury?”

The movie, he says, could lead people to move to Dubai with unrealistic expectations. Many Filipinos spoken to by 7DAYS last night agreed. “It fails to say how difficult it is to find a job here,” said Janice Gatchalian.

“I had to struggle for two months before I found a small job. There are so many Filipinos who think they can come to Dubai and immediately find a job and live happily. But that is not reality,” she said.

Don Brandon said he had to borrow $2,000 to come to the UAE, and he worries the film will encourage others to build up similar debts. “I thought I could earn good money and repay all my debts,” he said.

“But I have been working as a sales assistant and until now I have not even succeeded in repaying half of what I had borrowed. “I presume only after working for two full years can I start saving something. These are the issues the movie had to portray,” said Don.

But Emilita, who had travelled from Fujeirah to see the movie, said she thought it was accurate. “It portrays Dubai positively. That is why we have come here and continue to live here,” she said.

also make sure to bring extra money when exiting the Philippines.

    korek again....

alam ng mga taga immigration dyan sa pinas na kung ang aalis ay visit visa holder, hinohold nila yon, daming hinihinging supporting papers...before, the consulate here was issuing an "Äffidavit of Support and Consent" for Pinoys travelling here holding visit visa but it was stopped and a circular memo was given to consulate from our office there in DFA...di yata nabigyan ng kopya ang mga buwaya sa NAIA, ito pa din ang hinahanap ng mga buwaya...syempre, pagkakakitaan..... kung ang mga kabayan natin na umaalis dyan sa Pinas and they are holding all legal documents.....WAG KAYONG MAGPAPABAYAD SA IMMIGRATION...KUNIN NYO NAME NG OFFICER, I-REPORT NYO...WAG KAYONG MATATAKOT!
