Pati nga ako napa-isip dun ah. Shifting without using the clutch?
Maybe the author is hinting that we should all drive automatics on the road.

Actually pwede but of course, he's a truck driver and baka mas madali sa kanya.
I've seen drivers do it sa mga jeeps, buses and large vans as well. Dunno how though.

November 25th, 2005 04:06 PM #17sir yung shift without clutch ata sa mga oto ngayon majo kapaan at depende sa speed mo kung papasok sa lilipatan mo na gear. ginagawa ko kasi minsan kung magsstop ako from a slow speed, like 10kph to 0, shift to neutral ng walang apak sa clutch. tinutulak ko lang ung kambyo.

pwede shift without clutch but timing lang to if the teeth of the gears are in line, hirap lang to gawin to new cars kasi matalas pa yung teeth, madali to kung pudpud na yung teeth ng gearing niyo

for the sake of discussion,
at a certain speed and tiempo posible siguro yan
going from low to a higher gear but not the other way around
kasi, di ba lower gears are bigger in size than higher gears
parang sa road/racer bike (btw, cyclist din ako)
so in theory, bigger to smaller gear parts pwede mag shift
with out clutch provided na sobra taas ng rpm kasi malaki papunta sa maliit.
while kung downshifting naman, maliit papanik sa malaki mas doble ata ang hirap na dadanasin ng tsikot dito..
and what's the point of shifting gears without suppressing the clutch anyways?

Pwede talaga mag-shift from gear to neutral wout stepping on the clutch
I do this all the time, practice lang after a while you'll
get the technique.
Hwag nyong gagawin yung neutral to gear (or gear to gear) without
stepping on the clutch, delikado yan!
