    m2's reviving old threads again.

Ako two-handed driving talaga ever since. Pag medyo crawling lang sa traffic, dun ako nag-iisang kamay.

By driving with only a hand, a driver forfeits the better control that one can get from positioning both hands on the steering wheel in the 9' o clock (left hand) and 3' o clock positions (right hand).

I once observed someone who drives with the left hand and use the right only for shifting gears. While in gear, he places his elbow on the arm rest. I get this impressionm , na parang feeling cool lang yan.

I'll admit, I also drive with one hand on the wheel when driving the Contour or Sonata which are both A/T. But, I do alternate between left and right hand or both when making a turn.

When I'm on a 15-hr road trip on the Interstate doing 75mph, I set the car on cruise control and do the speed limit. 95 percent of all traffic will probably go faster and just pass me by. Sometimes, I have just 2 fingers holding the wheel while the other hand holds either a burger or Pepsi.

As much as possible, drive with both hands, specially at high speeds, just in case your tires suffers a blowout you'll still be able to control your car.
