    UP UP UP !

Sorry, I`m guilty. I don't wear seatbelts, kapag ae101 ang gamit ko, which is lagi.

Kapag ang sasakyan naman na ginagamit ko eh may seatbelt warning ( which is wala sa 101 ko ) , sinusuot ko. Nakakairita yung warning eh, paulit ulit.

bro. renzo_d10,- thanks for making this thread current. It is a safety concern....

Yes,- I buckle-up as soon as I enter a vehicle.... Makes me feel more secure and protected.... I also make this a ritual for all of those riding with me... Anyone can be a projectile, 'which' can hurt or kill someone who is properly bucked-up....

Same with sir renzo.. Dahil nakakairita yung seatbelt warning buzzer, I assume na palagi na merong ganun lahat ng kotse hehe .. Also psychological na siguro sakin, na parang I feel safe kapag may nakahawak na seatbelt sakin..

And ito, an amazing story from sir altec (2004 post in this thread)

if remember correctly, the seat belt law came into effect around mid year 2000 (May I think). Before pa nag take effect, nag seat belt na ako. Buti na lang, kasi paghinantay ko pa ang law implementation, patay na siguro ako, kasi noong Feb 2000, sumalpok yung 16V corolla ko sa acacia tree driving at 80kph, umikot sa ere ang kotse, lumipad at umikot parang helicopter ng mga 60 ft, nahulog 10ft down from road level in a small ravine, tumama sa basketball post na yung poste kasing kapal ng electric post, nabali ang poste, nahulog yung backboard made of cocolumber sa front hood and windshield, and all I had was a bruise on the right side of my face kasi tumama yung mukha ko sa right side front door that was already half way in (doon tumama ang basketball post). Buhay pa ako dahil naka seatbelt ako. By the way, split second before I hit the tree, my wife and kids appeared/flashed in front of me, yung parang before you are supposed to die, magpapakita sa iyo ang mga mahal mo sa buhay.
Not everybody will get a second chance like me. Wear your seatbelt.

Yup. pag upo, buckle up kaagad. Mahirap na maaksidente.

Oh yes. Before starting the car I am already wearing my seat belts. That goes to anyone inside the car. I am very strict when it comes to safety, its either they buckle up inside my car or get out and take a taxi instead. Better be safe than sorry.

Do you bother to buckle up (in the Phils)?
