    With PTT before, 15% lang. Swapang talaga BIR ngayon, terrible!

    i had the same experience. they asked me if i want to pay just half the required amount. the catch? they will not issue a receipt

    And they seem to be hitting more on the common hard-working man more than anything else. Sakit sa bulsa indeed!

    BTT: I don't think it's right to include the freight cost in the tax computation as that does not reflect the value of the item declared.

    the legal way to avoid tax is if you can prove that it will be for personal use only. also, you can always check with Phil. Tariff commission if pano ba talaga dapat yung computation ng taxes. Philippine Tariff Commission

    they are friendlier than people from BIR. and the good thing is, they sometimes disagree on how the BIR operates. give them a call, they might be able to help.

    Babalikan mo na lang yung package mo. Or choose NOT to receive the package.
