Ang inoffer kasi sakin 5 vials storage for 21 years nasa Php 70,000+ lahat na yun. Ang isang company naman one storage bag nasa Php 14,000+ for 21 years at may annual fee Php 2,600+.

if i have a child to be born and i have that money, i'd rather deposit that P500k in my child's trust account. by the time he'll need any medical procedure requiring stem cells, maybe when he/she is already 50+ years old (huwag naman sana) then that money would have multiplied many times over and he can afford whatever it will cost.
yun ay kung buhay pa yung bank by that time....

Also been offered by our OB's secretary. So I asked, how much ba? Sabi nya mahal sir, basta super mahal (good thing iniisip nya siguro wala kaming pera. LOL). I did not ask any further kasi I easily lose patience sa ganun paikot-ikot na usapan.

Sabi ng isang UP-educated doctor who specializes in Stem Cell here in the PH, from his experience, mas gusto nya ang adult stem cell (yung galing sa bone marrow - ang sakit siguro nun pag tinusok ka sa buto).

Since stem cell is like a "lego" piece that is the building block of our bodies, it can turn into anything - even to cancer cells. That part stunned me.

I am doing further gathering of information. Mid-year pa naman lalabas ang 2nd child namin :-)

Barkada ko availed this kind of procedure 2years ago paid downpayment yata of 18k. Kinunan ng "stem cell" yung baby pagkalabas sa mother then pinadala na sa states for storage. After a few weeks nag email sa kanya yung company at sinabi na hindi pwede ipreserve kasi infected / tainted yung stem cell. Goodbye 18k
